Elect Ken Nelson for Sterling Heights Mayor

Ken Nelson has spent his life serving his country and his community. He served in the United States Air Force and continued his public service as a civil servant in the National Weather Service. He also served as a Sterling Heights City Councilman and has been a business leader in both Macomb and Oakland counties.

Now retired, Ken is ready to once again give his full energy and commitment to the people of Sterling Heights—this time as Mayor. Representing over 134,000 residents, Ken will bring experienced, common-sense leadership as a Non-Partisan Conservative who is ready to listen and act.

Ken previously served two terms on the Sterling Heights City Council. During that time, he gave 110% to the city. When his business expanded, Ken made the decision not to run for a third term, believing the community deserved a representative who could be fully focused on the job. Today, with his daughter running the business, Ken is ready to dedicate his time, experience, and energy back to Sterling Heights.
